What the Amphi Festival is among the open-air festivals that is the E-tropolis for the electro scene. On September 3rd 2011 the motto at the Columbia Compound in Berlin is once again “darker, harder, louder” with the best the EBM, industrial, electro and synth-pop scenes have to offer.
No question, the top-notch programme impresses with 15 top acts and a nightly after-show party. Alongside the Berlin based formations FORMALIN, SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS as well as the splatter-disco-maniacs AGONOIZE the current lineup offers international flair inter alia with the Swedish EBM-banger SPETSNAZ, the legendary FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY from Canada or the Belgian industrial steam hammer SUICIDE COMMANDO who recently rocked the Amphi Festival into ground.
