Dark Bombastic Evening 3
On the 19th and 20th of August, in Romania, in the Alba Iulia Citadel, more than 50 musicians from several European countries (Sweden, Finland, France, Croatia, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Greece) will come to Dark Bombastic Evening 3. The bands wish to pleasantly surprise all the attendees through their representations, but also to spend most sincerely a weekend with old and new friends, in the heart of Transylvania.
We, DonisArt, thank you in advance for your interest and hope that Dark Bombastic Evening 3 will be perceived as a festival of friendship, without constraints or musical prejudices, where artistic expression and civilized behavior will be normal landmarks and those attending could comfortably socialize, this including with band members.
Following the survey we did, we decided to keep in mind the things you said (we greatly appreciate your interactivity), so that the ticket's price would be established in good faith and therefore be fair for the most of you. Consequently, for each day, the ticket price will be 60 lei (EUR 15) and the subscription for both days will be 100 lei (EUR 25). Tickets/ subscriptions will be available on the day of the event, at the entrance. The location belonging to our friends from RYMA, the place where the festival will take place, has a capacity that allows easy access to several thousands of people, a space that could handle much bigger festivals than the intimate DBE. We do not want to create marketing/ financial advantages by encouraging the sale of tickets in advance, as it might sound as a conditioning and DonisArt does not approve of this mean concerning the August event.
Our previous experiences have shown that these "advantages" disappear in less fortunate cases, when some people change their mind or are confronted by unexpected situations and can not participate any longer. The free and uncompromising Underground spirit has to dominate DBE 3, and therefore, you are unconditionally expected to come to Alba Iulia! Our friends from RYMA are preparing a new legend together with other activities to be held throughout the festival... specific details will follow... We will soon inform you about an art exhibit that will take place at DBE 3 as well, exclusively designed and created for this festival by a talented artist.
